Two national parks, one on each side: Tayrona 45 minutes west, Los Flamencos an hour east. All day trips — leave Saturday, be back at your desk Monday. We arrange all of it with local operators we've worked with for years.
The reason most people hear about Palomino in the first place. You ride upriver, hike in through the jungle for as long as you choose — three routes, from short to serious — then float back down on an inner tube until the river runs into the sea.

What can I say – Paola’s place gave me one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I was there for about 5 weeks in total and I had the most wonderful stay.
Her and Juan (and the dogs and the cat) are just so amazing and kind. I almost don’t want to give a good review to keep this hidden gem all to myself, haha.
Great vibes, perfect location, amazing people, comfy bed – there’s not much more you can ask for.
If you stay, you have to buy a cup of Paola’s coffee. It’s the best I’ve ever had. And a pandeyuca. And a cappuccino.
I was genuinely sad to leave, and I’m already planning my next trip back. I miss everyone already.
